tefano was born on November 10th 1990 in Saronno, in Lombardy. He has practiced various sports since he was a child, starting with swimming and athletics courses while running some cross-country races. At the age of 7 he started to kick his first ball until he left the first two sports and dedicated himself completely to soccer for about ten years up to 17 years. Leaving a sport practiced outdoors he started to train in a fitness gym, and immediately after at the age of 17 he engaged in a combat sport, a year of Kick Boxing followed by three years of Thai Boxing (Muay Thai).
Alongside these sports with a high physical and cardiovascular commitment, he approaches a type of training aimed at athletic training such as Functional Training and swimming. Knowing the benefits of functional training, he immediately became passionate about the novelty that had arrived in Italy: CrossFit. After four years of combat sport at 21 he left to devote himself full time to this new discipline which includes many new features like Gymnastic, Weightlifting and Powerlifting never practiced before. Around the age of 23, he was getting closer to weight lifting and body building thanks to his genetic predisposition to muscular hypertrophy finding a lot of satisfaction on a personal level. Undertakes and willing to find new training stimuli completely changing style and discipline and his ultimate goal is to complete an Olympic Triathlon, as at 25 years old he accidentally discovered the world of Mud Run where the race is no longer just a running race but there is also the effort of physical tests such as overcoming natural or artificial obstacles and a multitude of intense but short efforts, to be continued over time, with races that can last up to several hours. In the first year of competition he formed his team with the name of SHB Team, with many athletes running with him on the Obstacle Course Race (OCR) around Europe and Italy. This year they will participate in the Italian Mud Run Championship with the goal of finishing among the first places. With a training schedule based on several disciplines,from sport climbing (Bouldering and Climbing) to Trail Running, from Ultra Obstacle Race to Hiking and from the most classic workouts of: Swimming, Running, CrossFit and Functional Training brings the Obstacle Race specialisation to a higher level thanks to the fundamentals of all these specialties.
