DIANA MARIA HARTAN

"Per aspera ad astra"

Diana Maria Hartan, born May 25, 1989 in Romania. She started doing artistic gymnastics at the age of 3 at "Clubul Copiilor", in her hometown. Having completed 6 years, her mother took her to the selection of the Academy "Nadia Comaneci", the most prestigious training school in artistic gymnastics in Romania, where she was immediately admitted and remained there for the rest of the time of her competitive career. In 2000 she won her first medal at a national specialty competition (free body), she later won 3 bronze medals at the national championships. The intensity of the training, the daily hard work, the thousands of hours spent in this extraordinary training school have allowed her to achieve the absolute national title in 2002, and to participate and win international prizes. In 2006, due to serious injury she had to interrupt her competitive activity, and emigrated to Italy where part of her family resided. The training received over the years has allowed her to grow further and she is currently working as a personal trainer. Alongside this activity, she has been included in the "Titan Fitness" sales staff, leader of Bulgarian X-Fit fitness equipment, collaborating in the sale and training of the use of machinery during all the world's most important fitness fairs. From this year she was hired by VibramFiveFingers as ambassador and tester of the brand. She is also part of the Inferno Team OCR team, obstacle course race, where she will participate in a competitive national and international circuit, up to the world championship that will take place in Canada in October 2017. The experience gained over the years has led her to formulate a training project that harmonises beauty and strength.
